Working with interior designers is always a joy. They are creative, daring, bold and always bring some fun to the table.

Emily had a great idea for our Moorish Star pattern, which we’ve usually presented in blues, beige, cream or dark gray: she wanted it in a washed off, soft and delicate gray.

We selected the best, softest and lightest grays, a tone that’s almost white, but not quite white!

The result was a very delicate, elegant and almost feminine style for a rug that’s strong and geometrical.

This pattern is visually interesting, as it’s made out of patches forming stars and crosses that, when used in monochrome, offers a lot of texture and forces the eye to choose a specific figure to look at.

The light gray hides worked fantastically well for this pattern, and the fact that it was all custom made just for Emily makes it extra special!
