Making up your mind when it comes to an area rug is not easy. There are so many colors, designs, materials and patterns that sometimes it may be hard to decide on the right one.

Many, many of the designers we work with use samples to put together a “sample board” for their clients, a visual board to gather all the information in one place: the colors on the walls, the fabric for that special sofa, flooring style, fabric for the curtains, and of course, the leather area rug they’ve chosen for a particular project.

Samples are useful, but as we always try to explain, we only work with natural hides, this makes every single one of our rugs to turn out unique, as they are all made with different hides, which have their own varition in tone and hair length. So a sample will be useful to check our quality, the pattern, the texture, etc.

But the main thing we try to always make very clear, is that your patchwork cowhide rug will be made with many different hides. Different from each other and different from the one used to make your sample.

We will always follow the same tones and color scheme of the original (or custom) leather area rug, but it will, as stated above, be a one-of-a-kind, unrepeatable piece.
