Custom Project: OBO Leather Area Rug For Charles

We love custom projects!

And this one was perfect. It wasn’t too big, but the design took us some planning and redesigning.

I love working on these kind of projects as the result is always so unique. Most times we will only do a rug just once, only for that one client, and it always feel so special to deliver such a one-of-a-kind product.

The testing process started, we worked with gradients and plain grays to achieve the perfect look!

The result was great. Our client wanted the circles to be divided by the color scheme, as he wanted to use color to give direction to the room he was working on

The duo-tone look added a lot of directionality to the whole rug, and that was the main idea the interior designer had when he came to us with this project.

It’s always a thrill to work like this. Both as a designer and a production manager, as I get to take part in the whole process, and see it come together from start to end, until I finally see the package leave our warehouse, out to its new home! 🙂
