This week Google honored the great Gertrude Jekyll, a British garden designer, artist, writer, she did it all! She created hundreds of gardens in the UK and the US.
And she did everything before 1930! What an inspiration, right? I’ve been looking at her photos, which are amazing, and many of her gardens have been restored. The truly look like they came out of a movie, so creative and filled with color and different species.
I felt very inspired to compile my own little collection of beautiful gardens, and discovered most of my favorite ones are not huge gardens that go for days. I feel attracted to the little gardens, the Italian villa style, with stone paths and enormous lavender plants, so big you can almost smell them!
